Project Overview
TripPano is a mobile marketplace for booking short-term stays across apartments, homes, villas, and bungalows. The guest experience covers the complete journey from discovering a property and filtering options to booking, payment, messaging, and leaving feedback after the stay. The interface is designed to make property discovery straightforward while giving users the information they need to make a booking decision.
The platform also includes a dedicated host experience for property owners managing their spaces. Hosts can view listings, manage booking requests, check upcoming reservations, control availability through a calendar, review property details, and track monthly income. This creates a connected marketplace where the same platform supports both sides of the rental process.
Beyond the core booking flow, TripPano includes profiles, favourites, payment methods, notifications, messages, documents, reviews, and account settings. The result is a complete ecosystem that brings the different parts of a short-term rental experience together instead of treating booking as a single transaction.
Property Discovery
Browse apartments, homes, villas, and bungalows with ratings, pricing, distance, and key property details.
Advanced Search & Filters
Narrow down stays by price, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, amenities, booking options, and other preferences.
Simple Booking Flow
Move from selecting a location to providing personal details, confirming the stay, and completing payment through a structured booking process.
Host Dashboard
Give hosts a clear overview of listings, booking requests, reservations, and monthly income from one place.
Management Tools
Manage property availability through a calendar and review incoming booking requests before confirming stays.
Messaging Experience
Enable guests and hosts to stay connected via messaging, with features to rebook and leave reviews after their stay.

The Challenge
The challenge was to design one product around two very different users. Guests need a fast and trustworthy way to find and book the right property, while hosts need practical tools to manage listings, availability, bookings, and income without making the experience feel like a complicated management system.
The Approach
The product was structured around two connected experiences: a discovery and booking journey for guests, and a management-focused dashboard for hosts. Shared patterns across listings, profiles, messaging, payments, and property details helped keep both sides consistent while giving each user the controls relevant to their role.
The Outcome
TripPano became a complete short-term rental marketplace covering the key journey on both sides of the transaction, from finding and booking a property to managing listings, availability, requests, communication, and post-stay feedback.

Project Overview
The primary goal was to create a rental marketplace that could support the complete short-term stay journey rather than focusing only on property discovery. Guests needed an experience that made comparing and booking stays straightforward, while hosts needed enough control to manage their properties and reservations from the same platform.
From a business perspective, the two-sided marketplace model was central to the product. A strong guest experience helps drive bookings, but the platform also needs capable hosts with active listings and reliable availability. TripPano therefore needed to make both sides valuable enough to keep using the product.
The guest experience was designed around reducing friction during discovery and booking. Categories, search, filters, property information, favourites, map access, and a structured checkout flow help users move from browsing to booking without unnecessary complexity. Personal details and document uploads were also incorporated into the booking process where required. For hosts, the focus shifted from discovery to control and visibility. The dashboard gives hosts a quick view of listings, requests, reservations, and income, while the calendar provides a practical way to manage availability. Property details, reviews, guest information, and messaging extend that experience beyond simply accepting a booking.
The biggest takeaway was that marketplace products need to balance two user journeys without making either side feel secondary. TripPano connects discovery, booking, hosting, communication, and property management into one ecosystem, creating a foundation where guests can find places to stay while hosts can manage the business behind those stays.
